The 6th "Laisvos Valandos" Concert. Featuring: international competition laureates—pianists Gaivilė SIMAITYTĖ (Klaipėda, Lithuania) and Kristina MICHALKEVIČ (Sundsvall, Sweden). The concert will take place on June 20 at 6:45 p.m. at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Help of Christians in Nida (17 Taikos St.).

Participants will be introduced to the art of painting, colors, brushstroke techniques, and the arrangement of light and shadow on the canvas. They will also have the opportunity to delve into the methodology of perspective and composition. The workshop will take place at the Preila Community Center, 27 Preilos St., Neringa, Preila.

During the tour, you will walk along the base of the Parnidis Dune. You’ll hear stories about the settlements of the Curonian Spit buried beneath the dunes, hike through the mysterious Valley of Death, and learn why it’s called that. The tour begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Nida Culture and Tourism Information Center „Agila“ (Taikos St. 4, Neringa).
