The Vececrugo Cluster

It is the highest place in the Curonian Spit, reaching a height of 67 metres. The dune offers a spectacular panorama of the sea and the Curonian Lagoon, Cape Bulvikis and the surrounding pine forests, and the Pervalka Lighthouse.

It will take some effort to reach the site: first you have to walk through the forest, then climb a path made of rubble, with sand in places. But once you've climbed up, the views are redemptive. You can also visit the site by bicycle. There is an observation deck at the top of the dune and a bench for resting.

Viewing point "Italian View"

One of the most beautiful sights in Nida, and one of the most worth seeing on arrival, is the scenery that opens up from the writer Th. Mann's house porch. He said of this place: “These places are to be seen like Italy or Spain". This viewpoint is set on a hill, surrounded by pine forests overlooking the Curonian Lagoon - on sunny days you can even see the shores of the lagoon on the opposite side.

In spring, the distinctive beauty of nature is revealed here, with plants in bloom and the bright colours of the sunny season on the horizon. If you're wondering what to do in Nida in spring, get your drinks ready and come here to enjoy the nature, the views and a warm cup of tea.
